After a couple of weeks of bad weather we were able to get back down to the cabin… We finished the kitchen floor and put the stove in place but not hooked it up yet (we need new orifices for propane). We also added an additional hinge to the bedroom door and installed the ceiling on the wood shed.
Picked up four saws (three four footers & one five footer), a 2 inch auger, a scythe, and a buck saw off of criagslist. Cleaned them up and plan to put them on the cabin wall with the other saws… They were in great shape… very little rust and very sharp… just cleaned up the surface rust with some WD-40 and #2 steel wool for the blades and some Howard Feed-N-Wax with some #00 steel wool for the handles.
Today was a half work day… did not start till almost noon…
The door to the wood shed was installed a week or two ago…
Last week built the bedroom door and installed it… We also installed most of the cabinets and laid the kitchen floor…

In all reality we did not get a ton of work done today…. but what we got done makes a huge difference…
